About the Author
I'm a self-taught web/graphic designer as well as an unofficial sociologist. I've studied sociology and psychology in school but have found it much more fascinating if I study people without reading a book or sitting at a desk in a classroom.

Dissecting the truth has been my own personal mission, though, gaining it has been more difficult in some aspects of my life, specifically where I belong. I have always felt out of place in society but as I continued to study various social behaviors, it has not only taught me more about human beings, but how to teach others how to find their place within the social realm.

A Brief History of Cataclysm.ws
In 2005, I created Cataclysm.ws, which was originally formed as a Dimmu Borgir fansite but the idea was eventually recycled due to the lack of information about the band, plus the unoriginality of the whole concept.

I moved on to ranting in 2006. I took little time and effort into writing them so I trashed the idea of becoming another Maddox wannabe and moved onto something else. With my dwindling interest in web and graphic design, I created 400x500 pixel posters which I called parodies. I designed them in Photoshop with my pictures and pictures of my friends. Their intent was simple, to mock the movie posters you see in theaters. Some of the posters were parodies of actual movies but most were ideas my friend Mike and I thought of.

Later, in 2009, after much inactivity, I focused on creating a website based on my theories and the outlandish 2012 theories that other people have made. However, after getting busy outside of the internet, Cataclysm.ws once again became a ghost town.

In early 2010, I used my website for holding articles and college papers I had written, with no interest in even displaying them publicly. However, as time moved on, I developed different ideas and finally in December of 2010, I resurrected my 5-year-old website for the purpose of posting bits of writing. Nothing special.

Now in 2011, I have come to the conclusion that my interest isn't about simply building the website or attempting to draw traffic to it. It lies outside the internet, in the world of social observation, which I can now share with people who visit.
